How to get to the OLA venues?

PLANE

SANSA AIRLINES provides flights from San José and Liberia to Nosara airport. The flight is approximately 30 minutes and it costs something between $100-$130. On arrival into Nosara airport, you can grab a tuktuk – approximately 15 minutes and $15. We have some reliable tuk tuk drivers and we can help with the booking arrangement.

PRIVATE SHUTTLE

From Liberia airport:

There are a number of companies that provide a private shuttle service to the OLA venues; we frequently use the private services of our very reliable driver Alejandro from Liberia airport. The cost is $150 for a 4 person shuttle, so we can help you arrange with the other retreat participants to book a private shuttle together to divide the cost.TROPICAL TOUR SHUTTLES provides daily shared shuttles for $50 from the airport at 9 am and 5 pm, you can book your spot directly on their website.

From San Jose airport:

We can help you arrange a private shuttle from San Jose airport. The cost is approximately $200 and depending on traffic the ride could be between 5-8 hours.

Public bus from San Jose:

Departing from the bus terminal (7-10) in San José. The bus leaves the station at 5.30 am and costs around $15. The drive is approximately 8 hs. You can let the driver know that you will get off at the “Cafe de Paris” stop in Nosara. There you can grab a tuktuk to the venue for $15 and it will take you approximately 10 minutes.

What is the Cancellation Policy?

  • There is no refund for arriving late or leaving early.
  • Canceling 30 days or more prior to the retreat start date: you can apply a credit towards another retreat date or cancel in full and there will be a refund of 50% of the deposit.
  • Canceling 14 days or fewer prior to the retreat start date: no refunds of the deposit.

Activities

Every participant must have travel insurance.

Remember surfing is an extreme sport! Even if you will be taken care of by qualified instructors, there is always a risk of getting hurt. The activities require those taking part to have a reasonable standard of health and fitness.

All clients must inform of any medical conditions, illnesses or allergies they may have and any prescribed medication they might be taking prior booking.

No one should participate in any activity if they are suffering from a heart condition or are pregnant.

No client should in any circumstances take part in an activity while under the influence of alcohol, drugs or medication, which may adversely affect their physical abilities.
